Addition and Subtraction Facts

L.I. To go faster in addition and subtraction.

Today we had to go faster in our addition and subtraction. I got some wrong and some correct and that will help get a better score then 4m 56s. So I have to inprove my math and get 3m and 20s. So I have to go faster at typing numbers and never make incorrect answers.

Kiwi Sport

L.I To lean how to play rippa rugby.

For kiwi sport we went to the Dunkirk park. We went there for Rippa rugby. First we started of with passing the ball to each other then my partner had to catch the ball. After that we played a little game of rippa rugby. And then we played more rippa rugby. After that we played a little game called Rabbit and rat. We had to get these colours of tags and we had to take the tags off the rats.
Then we left and went back school.

This book that I read was cool because I like the detail of the book. This book that I read was called Minecraft Annual 2020.

Punctuation Marks

This week we learnt about 5 different punctuation marks and how to use them. First we learnt about what punctuation marks are and how to use each different one. Next we created a poster to show our learning. our group did full stops and hopefully I can use the correct punctuation in my writing. 

What is a KeyWord

L.I. This week for reading we learnt about 

We first worked on keywords, we learnt the meaning of it and what was and what was not a keyword. Then I made this poster to show what I learnt. I look forward while using this strategy in reading books.

Geometric shapes

L.I. To create an illusion of making 3D shapes in a room.

This week I finished my Geometric shapes in a group. We had to used shapes and lines from google draw and we had to make it straight so it could look 3D

Self Portrait

Today I had to finish our self portrait. We had to pick between Mrs. Anderson's style or Mr. Wong's style. I chose Mr Wong's We had to start drawing from the furthest back to the closest to you, so that things don't overlap each other or so that the shapes go in the right place

Print Design

This week we learnt about Print Design Rules. Print Design Rules is what catches peoples attention.

This is the four rules:

• Composition:
• Have a balance of pictures and sentences.
• Use images  and relate to the text.
• Layout:  
• Have margins and align text and images.
•  Use most of the space
• Colour: 
•  Don’t use  clashing colours use a harmonic colour       scheme.

Positive Relationships

L.I. to make positive relationships

We learned about positive relationships.

We played switch places for the energizer.

We talked about fairness and fair play.

We played pizza tag  to encourage fairness and fair play.

I was happy that everyone was in the game and playing fairly.

Maritime Museum

L.I. to study the history of NZ maritime explorers

We went to the maritime museum to find out about maritime explorers.

I saw lots of boats like kayaks and waka.

I found out that Sir Peter Blake was the best New Zealand sailor.

I watched a video about the first explorers coming to Aotearoa.

I enjoyed learning about things I never knew before.
