What is Money?

On Monday we did our first sketch note and it was about money the first thing we did was watch a video and if there was something important we would raise our hands and then we would draw it.

At the start of the year in maths we did a colouring activity we coloured in our 2x and 5x table.

On August we played a math game and it was called fraction splat. And my score was 81 but later it changed to 190.

In the afternoon I got tired so I went to sleep in my bed for 1 hour.

Later at school I got sleepy so I slept in class.

When I was on a road trip to the movies I got worn out.

One day I met a vampire and he drained all the juice from an apple.

On a very bright day I went on my phone, tablet and ps4 and when I was done I was overworked.

Today in class we did a word Cline and my word was tired. And if we didn't know other words to look for we looked in the thesaurus.

Read the poem

Identify the two metaphors in the poem.

A:  Marshmallow boats -this refers to marshmallows floating in hot chocolate.

B:  Chocolate sea - this refers to hot chocolate.

Identify the simile -Like a sliver typhoon refers to a spoon.

Write down the pairs of rhyming words.

• Wobble -bobble-topple.
• Zoom-spoon-typhoon.
• Sink -pink-drink.
