Te Reo Meanings

 I translated words from Maori into English.

Some of he Maori words were Raro, Mua, Muri and Waenganui.

When translated it wil say: Under, Front, Behind and Between.

LI: To revise and translate words from Te Reo Maori.

How to plant a vegetable

 These instutions will tell/show you how to make a plant.

The mixure contains Legionella longbeachae which is a bacteria, inhaled, it will cause trouble breathing and can cause death.

Ingredients:

Plant box 

Seeds 

Water

Potting mix 

Instutions:

Step 1:

Get a plant box:

Step 2:Put potting mix in the plant box:

Step 3:Dig a hole in the middle:

Step 4:Put a seed in the hole:

Step 5: Water the seed:

Step 6:Leave It out in the sun light.

Final Step:Wait:

Basic Facts

 I completed the speed demon challenge on additions up to 10 My time was 4 minutes and 41 seconds. My score was 100 out of 100. Next time I will go up to 20.

Fractured Fairytales 4

This week we did an activity based on fairy tales.

First I chose the fairy tale to rewrite on.

Then I write down the orientation, climax and resolution.

Lastly I thought on what It would be about and what I should keep from the original story.

I like this task because It involed fairy tales.

Mobile Puzzle

 Moblie puzzels is a game where you try to figure out how much a shape is.

While thinking and calculating how much the shapes are, you have to try a make both of the shapes even.

Here is an example:

One square equals 55, so two squares will equals 110 : (110 x 110= 220)

One triangle equals 5.  220+5=225. So the answer is 225.

SSR Selfie | Captain Underpants

 I read 15 minutes of Captain Underpants and the Tyrannical Retaliation of the Turbo Toilet 2000. By Dav Pilkey.

This book is about the turbo toilet coming back to earth to deafeat Captain Underpants

I enjoy reading this book because the Turbo Toilet is my favorite villain.

 This week we did an activity based on fairy tales.

First I chose two fairly tales to mash on.

Next I wrote down the orientation, climax and resolution.

Lastly I thought on what It would be about and what I should keep.

I like this task because It involed fairy tales.

Work book | Unit one

 For reading we filled in our work book.

Unit 1: evolution.

Page 1 Unit 1

For the first page it was about Charles Darwin explaining about how men didn't live for billion of years, and that animals have advantages. For this page we had to write down the meaning for genertic, evolution, species and advantage.

Page 2 Unit 1

For the second page it was about him looking at multiple finchs and there evolution and what food each of them eat. For this page we had to write down what they eat.

Page 3 Unit 1

For the Third page it was about him talking about how were related to chimpanzees and not apes. He also said that a group of them started to evolve. For this page there was some questions about the topic and we had to circle around a true or false if it were, true or false.

I liked this because I learnt alot about evolution.

I read 15 minutes of Hotdog snow time.By Ahh Doo.

This book is about Hotdog and his friends accsadently taking a trip to snowville where they help some kids win a tournament.

I enjoy reading this book because Hotdog and his friends help people.

Maori

This week, we translated object words and places into maori.

There was questions like: He aha tēnei? and He aha tērā?.

We had to answer it by saying He___tēnei? and He___tērā?.

To fill in the gaps we wrote what was on the picture.

I liked this because I learnt new words

Fractions

This week we Identifyed fractions.

Fractions are a whole divided into numorus equal pieces.

Fractions include something call a numerator and a denominator.

The denominator is the number under the numerator. It shows you how much pieces there are.

The numerator is the number above the denominator. It shows you how much pieces you have.

This task was easy because some of the gaps were filled in.

Maori Questions

For Maori we filled in questions that our teachers made.

The questions were about positions and locations.

The questions Involved us writing sentences like this: Kei ___ I te ___. Where we'd had to fill in the gaps.

We used words like mua kumete and much more.

I enjoyed this because it reminded us words like these.
